Mount Kinner Kailash is located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The trail provides a panoramic view of the whole range of Kinner Kailash mountain peaks. This region is located on the Indo-Tibet border and gives a wonderful introduction of confluence of Hinduism and Buddhism. The landscape of the area varies from lush green scenic valley of Sangla to the snow clad mountains of the Kinnerranges. This trek is packed not only with some of the best views of the mountains, but also provides an insight into the rich history of trade, religion and diverse ethnic groups, the experience of which will leave one enchanted.
Itinerary of the trek is tailor made for hardcore trekkers who have extensive high altitude trekking experience. Trek will include 2-3 days of snow camping (which will depend upon snow conditions in the month of April) and crossing glaciers.

Once you arrive at Leh in anticipation of your long awaited trip to Ladakh, our
representatives will make sure you reach safely at your hotel, where you will
experience a traditional welcome by the staff. Khataks and hot Indian beverages to
soothe you from your taxing travel to the north. You will cast away the rest of the
day settling back and getting acclimatized to the high altitude of 3,524 Meters
(11,500 ft.).In the late afternoon drive to the city for an orientation walk in the
markets‚ followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa &Leh Palace. Dinner and overnight stay
at the hotel.
As we said earlier, Leh has a lot to offer. Today you will embark on a sightseeing tour to explore and gain from these places. Following breakfast, we drive to the east of Ladakh on the Srinagar-Leh (NH-1) highway which will take you to theSangam. Quite literally Sangam is the assemblage of 2 sinuous rivers, The Indus and the Zanskar. On the way back you shall visit the Magnetic hill also known as the hill that defies gravity. After one last stop at the 12th century Gurudwara-Pather Sahib and Hall of Fame &Spituk Monastery after that, we head back to the hotel. The evening will be left free at your disposal to wander about the local markets, purchase handicrafts or relics to add to your collection of memories. At the end of the long yet eventful day, a specially prepared dinner will be served back at the hotel.
After an early breakfast we begin our journey to the Nubra Valley. This is a peaceful and picturesque drive about 135 km from Leh through KhardungLa(18,379 ft)-clearly one of the world’s highest accessible boulevard. Aiming to reach Diskit (headquarter of Nubra valley) by noon we shall check in at the hotel or camp and relish a searing afternoon meal. As the sun sets in we make our way to visit Diskit Monastery and marvel at the agonizing beauty of Sand dunes in Hunder Village. Captivated in this experience, it will soon be time to return to the hotel but before that why not take a ride of the Double Humped bacterian Camels? Your day will end by driving back to the hotel on the effortless roads and after a sumptuous dinner make yourself comfortable amidst the cozy environment.
Once again we begin the day post a sumptuous breakfast. Capture some fine
snaps of the Diskir Monasteryenroute. Savoir-fair the hot water Sulphur springs a
tPanamik village- an experience that will soothe your soul. Later we drive back to
Leh from the same route crossing Khardung La Pass. Arrive at the hotel and check-
in.Following the afternoon siesta the evening will be left free for you to linger
around at your convenience.
As the day sets in we make our way to Pangong Lake. Situated about 149 km from Leh at an altitude of 4,350 m (14,270 ft) Pangong Lake is by far the most pristine and clear salt water lakes in the whole of India. The center of this mystical entity is beautifully carved out by the international border between India and China. This promising landscape is difficult to take eyes off and you will sure be in awe of it.Visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery enroute. On the way we cross“Changla” Pass-yet another mind boggling destination and in fact the third highest motorable pass in the world. At the end of today you will find yourself back at the camp, savoring hot dinner and scrolling through several images of the overwhelming destinations you have just visited.
With your heart not wanting to leave this place, it’s unfortunately time to bid adieu to Pangong Tso. As they say, in order to reach somewhere you have to leave some place behind. As we take a small detour to Hemis another thrilling destination awaits you. The famous 17th century Hemis Monastery is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh. From same junction of kharu we drive back to Leh. Unwind amidst the comforting climate and spend the night at the hotel.
Waking up today you will realize that the 7 day journey has finally come to an end. But don’t let that upset you for you are taking back a whole bag of memories and innumerable moments that you will cherish for a lifetime. After a last morning breakfast, you shall bid adieu to this wonderful destination that was your abode for a good 7 days.
“Hippie in Hills” organizes treks, excursions and related activities primarily in the Himalayan mountain ranges and in other outdoor regions. Travel in the remote mountain regions of the Himalayas involves certain inherent risks and dangers to life and property of both – the “Hippie in Hills” team as well as the participants, which include but are not limited to, acts of God, danger from natural elements / extreme weather (landslides, cloudbursts, rock-fall, snowfall, etc.), problems arising out of exposure to high altitudes injuries / accidents on account of travel in difficult terrain, which may result in delays, injury, illness or under extreme circumstances, even death.
The participant is aware that the treks and related activities involve such risks and dangers; and that “Hippie in Hills”, within its limited capacity, takes viable measures to ensure the safety and comfort of the participants and to minimize the risks associated with these activities.
Understanding all the risks, dangers and related aspects mentioned in this section, registering and participating in of any of the services offered by “Hippie in Hills” constitutes a de-facto contractual arrangement between “Hippie in Hills” and the Participant. Accepting these terms and conditions denotes that the participant has understood all the terms & conditions mentioned hereafter, and that these terms and conditions shall be binding upon the participant at all times.

In case of bad weather and inaccessibility to a destination after the tour begins, we will do our best to make alternate plans. The cost of the tour or any part of it will not be refunded in the event of unfavorable conditions anytime during the tour days, after the tour begins.
